Due to covid-19 and the virus’ contagious nature many U.S residents have been laid off  because it is not safe to work under these conditions. Those who could  keep their jobs have moved to working from home. Essential workers have remained at their work sites. It is important to note, some essential workers do not receive sick leave and may risk termination if they call out of work. This is all too common for those working low paying jobs. The result? Infected people returning to work and/or losing their income.
